Check out the descriptions on the USA Kilts website (link at the top left of thia page). Essentially their "casual" models are PV kilts with velcro closures. The "semi-traditional" kilts are also PV but made more like traditional kilts with leather strap and buckle closures, etc.
Either way Rocky and crew offer great products and superb customer service.

Based on your use of the term "Semi Traditional", the fact you PM'd me with a question and based on your previous threads asking about USA Kilts, I assume you're referring to our poducts. If that's true, then:
2 links to check out:

You can also add both to our "compare" feature (right by the "add to cart" button) and compare them that way. Also, check out the "Specs" tab under the product pictures -

I don't have a casual to compare it to, but here's my review of a USA Kilts Semi-trad;

I hand sew semi-traditional kilts using 5-6 yards of woolen tartan. Compared to an 8 yard kilt, there are fewer pleats and they are a bit wider. The sewing time is a little less because of fewer pleats, but otherwise I sew it the same as for a traditional 8 yard knife pleated kilt. I do pleat cut-outs, steeking, waist stabilizer, canvas, lining, belt loops, buckles and straps.
If it's a 4 yard casual kilt, there would be even fewer pleats and the pleat width would be wider. I wouldn't do cut-outs and would probably not do a buttonhole for the underapron strap. Instead, I'd do an inner buckle as done on 4 yard box pleated kilts. If wanted, I could do a velcro closing.
