Should I?
Ok, about a month ago I bought my first kilt..a thrifty kilt from Stillwater Kilts. I really like it, and want to buy another, yet slightly better kilt. Through my searching, I found that the Celtic Croft has a kilt, in my size and length, on clearance. It's an economy kilt.
Now, my question is this - How does Celtic Croft's economy kilt compare to, say, Stillwater's economy kilt? Are they pretty much the same, just a different seller?
Thanks!

Not sure if this will help, but I came across this old thread that has some info:

After a bit of arguing with myself, I've decided to go with a USAkilts casual. At least that way I know it's a quality product and it's made here in the US.

Ditto!!!! And it's the best value, IMHO, for that price range; quality; made in the USA. Enjoy!

Though I have a kilt from both USA kilts and Celtic croft, I gotta agree that rocky has a fantastic product, and when your order arrives... You have the info as to which of Rocky's minions made your kilt, and a wee sack of treats to boot! When your kilt arrives call over there and speak to them. They are busy but perhaps your kilt maker can take a few moments to accept your praises, Rocky runs a tight ship, (one I would gladly sign on to as an apprentice) but the work is top rate... And I like to tell them that, I am a mechanic and rarely do I hear a customer say thanks, it's a rare and satisfying thing to know you did a good job, too often customers only voice problems, but a job well done too often goes to the wayside.
