    Sportkilts PC

I'm concidering getting a PC from Sportkilts to wear to a St. Andrew's Ball in November and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this jacket. I wanted to get a PC to wear with my good wool kilt but when you're on unemployment, you have to make evey penny count.

The price is good and the reviews sound good. The reviews pretty much all say it's a great jacket and vest for the cost but they run a little small so you'll want to go up a size. In the pictures it looks well made.

I bought an Argyle jacket and vest from Sport Kilt recently..... for the next Burns Supper in my area. I usually take a 44 regular, and yes, I was told and ordered a 46 regular.
It fits great. I'm looking forward to wearing it at an event!

    Re: Sportkilts PC

I have a black Argyle jacket that I bought from someone on this site but it's a bit big. I normally wear a 42 Reg but my Argylr feels more like a 46 and the sleeves are about three inches too long. I don't even know if it would be worth the cost of taking it to a taylor and having it altered. It's a great jacket, too bad it doesn't fit.

I have taken my Argyle jacket to three different taylors and they have all said they can take the jacket in and shorten but that it would cost $100-$150 for the alterations. I cold by a new jacket that fits from ebay for that much or for a little more, I could get an Argyle from Sportkilt (if they had my size) or their Prince Charlie which does come in a size 44.

I guess I'll jst sell the jacket and use the fnds to buy a new one.
