St Kilda Store Experiences?
I'm experiencing what my father the aviator would call "approach avoidance" about pulling the trigger on purchasing a Sheriffmuir doublet and vest from St. Kilda Store. I've so far had a good experience with their customer support (they responded to my question promptly and helpfully), but before I take the plunge I want to make as sure as I can that they're as reputable as they look.
Anyone here purchased anything from them, or heard anything one way or the other?
Mods, if this needs to be moved to a different locate, I apologize, please do what needs doing if so.

Please remember that the name St Kilda is used by, at least, two totally different companies.
There is the St. Kilda based in Scotland and the St Kilda out of the US, California specifically.
They are not the same and should not be confused.

Do you mean the one whose website is stkildastore.com? If so, they're the makers of the Gaelic Themes brand, and yes, they're reputable. I purchased a tweed waistcoat from them (albeit through USA Kilts), as well as some clan crest items, and they even sent me a few fabric samples free of charge when I too was inquiring about a doublet. So unless someone else can say otherwise, I don't think you'll have any issues ordering a Sheriffmuir from them.

St Kilda Scotland were excellent and did a fully tailored Braemar jacket for me. Great communications and jacket is beautiful, I would not hesitate to recommend to others.
