Suggestion for making kilt material purchases by groups

I'm new, so this may have been covered before, but it seems to me that some mechanism could be included on this site where pending tartan material purchases could be posted, and people could join in so as to take advantage of the power of numbers in purchasing special run tartans. I really want to find some Maxwell Hunting, but the minimum purchase is 15 yards!!! It would be great if it could be setup as a web-based spreadsheet where yards/meters needed could be added on to others request, and would notify members when minimum requirements had been reached. Any thoughts?

If you contact almost any kilt shop they are usually good at handling jobs like this. For a small fee of course.

I have done this many times. It all started with our own X Marks Tartan. We have gone through over 350 meters of double-width fabric so far.
