I don't know the tartan, but I am surprised the seller didn't mention it.

They usually dont mention it. I was biding on an Anderson wool kilt, and the add didnt say anything about the tartan. I found out here thru Cindy, the Tartan Master. She should be able to help you.

    tartan...

At first glance, it sort of looks like the Crawford tartan to me, but the pictures weren't the best...

    Cheers,

It's Chisholm Hunting, tartan No. 1458 in the ITI.

It appears to be the Chisholm Hunting tartan, though the colours look a bit 'off' in the photo. You can see the tartan at http://www.tartansauthority.com/web/...=By+Tartan+No. Have you asked the seller? He may know what tartan it is, even though he didn't say in the eBay entry. I'm pretty sure it's Chisholm Hunting, though. It's brown, green, and blue, with a narrow red overcheck and white 'tramlines' in the brown. An attractive tartan! (Better than it looks in the eBay picture.)
