Waistcoat from New Jersey Piper

I received my waistcoat yesterday, a burgundy colored premium vest. It was pretty much what I expected. Unfortunately, after trying it on, I think it is to big. But not being well versed in the world of waistcoats, I wanted to get another opinion. It was my belief that waistcoats should be snug fitting, and this one is by no means snug. I can pull the right side about 6 inches past the edge of the left side, in other words, it could practically be a double breasted vest

Send it back to him. I had the same problem with a vest I ordered, and he was very good about sending me the right size.

I think the problem is that the manufacturer "sizes" their products smaller than other manufacturers, which makes the consumer order the size he believes will be right, but when it arrives, it's too big.

piper, I believe that is what I am going to do. Unless I gain another 25+ pounds this thing just won't fit.
