Authentic??
I just came across this advert... we've all seen it hundreds of times, probably.
It used to amuse my old PM, who would point out that several of the items are mislabelled.

Wing Epaulets: the epaulettes on a doublet are the shoulder straps; what the arrow is pointing to is one of the Musicians' "shells".
Gold Sash: it's called a "baldric" and it isn't gold, it's yellow, the facing colour of The Gordon Highlanders (which the Dewar's Highlander is obviously based upon). The sash, which is crimson, can just be seen peeking out from under the baldric.
Shoulder Pin: it's called a "plaid brooch".
Baton: it's called a "mace". A baton is the narrow dimpled chrome thing with rubber ends that girls twirl.
