    Ebay again... d'oh.

Well... I may need to disable my eBay account as I have troubles not looking and bidding. I recently won (delivered yesterday) this vintage tweed in a medium to darker grey/lovat blue. I love the plain styling, leather buttons, matching waistcoat... and the fit is great! Not bad for under $100 (even after shipping etc.). Anyway, I had to wear it today, and with the old school look of it, decided to go a bit older school with tartan hose and hair sporran as daywear.

I know you have influenced a few students to think about dressing smarter. How will they (or us) keep up if you get all the Ebay goodies?

Still looking for that "one great find" for myself. Thanks for the inspiration, again.

    Excellent "find." Looks great...

...but the "whole outfit" needs just a hint of a smile.

You are very kind, but I will have to repay that kindness and not send it on if it looks so horrible. I would hate to be responsible for your looking so dreadful.

That said, it is about a 38R.

Oh to be a size like that!

I search my size on Ebay (50R or 50L) all the time, and a kilt jacket in that size might come up once a year.

After several months of nothing, a black Argyll in 50 has just come up, lovely, from a great Scottish maker... but it's 50 Short, useless for me.
