    New Bairn, New Kilt

I just ordered my newest grandson's first kilt, a Leatherneck tartan from Stillwater. The sporran is coming from an ebay seller in the UK.

I'm still looking for a bonnet so we won't have to wear our flat hats:

You can readily see what old block he's chipped off of.

Photos will, of course, be forthcoming as soon as the gear arrives.

He's already spoiled rotten, and he's only five weeks old.

    I do what I can.

Congratulations on the new addition to the family (the grandson I mean, not the kilt)

Champion small person. He's going to look the business, not that he doesn't already.

Looks like he'll probably grow a moustache soon, just like Gramps!

He's Alexander Everett Killman--I'd mentioned his birth earlier. but we're planning a little outing around Thanksgiving or Christmas in his new attire. I have received notice that both have shipped, so we;ll be in business soon.

@Father Bill, the moustache is already planned. I can wield an eyebrow pencil just fine.

He and I will wear our Leatherneck tartans together, but I'm still trying to decide how to make a bonnet in such a wee size. I have to admit that I share Jock's dislike of a flat cap with the kilt.

BTW: his dad bought the flat hat, and I got mine out as soon as he showed up in his.
