Hank, an idea on another site...

Hank, have you thought about a site for the women and scrapbooking? I know from the time and money my wife put into it she would be interested and there are a lot of scrapbook suppliers out there that could advertise....just an idea.

Intersting. i will put some thought into it. I would have to have someone else moderate the community though as I know nothing about the subject nor have the time (this one keeps me busy!).

Would you and your wife be interested in moderating and promoting such a place?

My wife voiced the opinion that "...she never can get on the computer because SOMEONE keeps hogging it!"...well, you guessed it...it's on your site reading and posting.

We might have to pass on this but it was just a thought...Richard-

Easy solution. Get her a computer of her own.

Bubba, ya hit the nail on the head... That's exactly what I was thinking when I read this thread earlier this afternoon. Richard, you might want to see if there are any city, county, or state surplus stores in your area. Even a Pentium II 400MHz machine would be powerful enough for most stuff. As a PC, I've got a Dell P-II 333MHz machine that runs Win2K. Works fine for what I need it to do. My main machine, however, is a PowerMac 7500/100 that has a 300MHz G3 processor installed. I am a Mac guy, but I will use PC's when I need to. Actually, to tell the truth, I'm more of an Apple II guy, but, except for the IIgs, they're pretty limited in what they can do nowadays... More of something to collect...
