    The For Sale Section

I wasn't sure whether to ask this here or in the Tech question area, but I'm sure there are others with the same question.

If we have an item for sale that doesn't sell by the 60 day time limit and our thread is deleted, are we allowed to post a new thread? And how long should we wait before doing so?

    Chelsea,

I don't think there is a problem reposting an item when the ad expires.

But it would seem wise to offer more details and/or photos and or a reduction in price when reposting the item.

Here's a question to the Ladies and Gentlemen of XMTS

Should there be a waiting period (and if so how long) before posting an item for sale again?

    Cheers

I see no problem with reposting the item right away. However as Panache said it would be best if the description was perhapse made clearer, or more details were given. I've no idea what item you were refering to Squeaky. Does the price need to be adjusted also? If there was absolutely no response to your for sale post then perhapse it would be best to give the item a short reprieve from the want ads and post it again at a later date.
