Is there a way to filter search results by where everyone is located. We are setting up a Kilt Night in Indy and want to send messages to everyone in the area to invite them. I never keep up on kilt night message boards and wish someone would just let me know if one is coming up in my area.
There is the map! Not everyone is on it, but it should give you some names. The link is in Tattoo Bradley's signature line...
OOooo good answer TKW. I was going to reply that there is no way to do that but yes, the map should help.

No, there is not a good method to search by member location. There was an older thread floating around somewhere about an Indy kilt night, I'll see if I can locate it. There doesn't appear to be many Hoosiers here, actually. Let me know if you get anything set up and I'll try to get down there.
OK, here is the thread. The bad news is that Red Lioness hasn't logged in here since last April. Another Indy member, Heath, hasn't been here since back in August. An Indy kilt night might make for some slim pickin's. I've mentioned Fionn MacCool's or the Claddagh to a couple of people, but nobody ever seemed to much care.
Once upon a time we could search this way, but then we moved to this new forum hosting whatever, and can't anymore. Adam
We could have a giant thread where we all write where we are from and maybe some big cities you're willing to drive to. Then a curious person could search the thread for "Indy" (It's 4 letters, thank goodness) and click to see search results by post. It would also only give you results of people who have logged in since now. A perfect work around the inability to search by location? Of course not. Kinda complicated if someone's having trouble with the search function? Of course. Maybe someone can refine the idea?
Well we have at least ten confirmed, the bar is ready and the band will be kicking. They should be wearing their kilts also. More info at... http://www.alphakilts.com/indykiltnightjanuary.html
