Something to remember us by - XMTS cards?
I get into the "Tell me about the kilt" conversation several times a week, and always conclude by directing him/them to XMTS.
As a Utilikiltarian, I have UK cards to hand out, but end up writing "xmarksthescot.com" on them. Not that I think UK minds too much, but is/was/can there be a more 'official' XMTS print & cut card design we rabble can use to share the spirit?
I can put something together, but lack good XMTS clip art to make 'em pretty, and don't want to go reinventing or stepping in something I shouldn't.

gibby,
Please feel free to copy our forum logo and use that on a card.
Here is a scan of my business card.

Simply right click the logo in the upper left corner of this site, save it, then inset it to your card.

I made up my own quite some time ago, I will have to scan it and try to post it. Those who I have given it out to really like them.

We have two companies here in the UK, Avery and DECAdry. Both offer a range of pre-micro-cut sheets and free to download software. Once the software is loaded, you buy the sheets in the style you want and are led very easily to make the cards you want. I use DECAdry OCB-3260. A very simple and easy process.

I am sure that there must be similar, if not the same, products in the States.

a few of our mechanics at work use a service called vistaprint. very reasonable prices for printing cards. if you use one of their "stock" layouts they are actually free (just pay shipping). They all seem happy with the service

I have used there cards in the past. a good service, you will have to add a little $ to the shipping if you want to use your own logos and to add info to the back of the cards. the card stock is a little thin. but for a almost free calling card you could do worse.

The company Avery is perhaps the largest of the stationary and card paper producers here in N. America. You cannot go into a stationary or office supply store without finding Avery paper and card stock.
Avery card stock uses standard sizes and templates for printing. You simply put the card stock paper in your printer and using their template print any card you wish.
I will attempt to create a template for our members to use to print their own cards and post it as a sticky on the forum.
