American Made Sporrans

As I am looking at purchasing a couple of sporrans, I ran across this site. Viking Leathercrafts. http://www.vikingleathercrafts.com/ Has anyone bought one of their sporrans? While not of Scottish origins they look to be hand made, but I am a novice at this. Any thoughts? Thanks.

So, if the person making this is earning minimum wage,
And it takes three hours to make it including the time to cut out each piece, braid the tassles and sew it up.

That leaves $18.24 for materials.

That leaves no profit margin to pay the electric bill, the website hosting or any thing else.

and no travel expenses to Ren Faires. Methinks Mr. Ashton is spot on.

And...no dimensions given for a product where size is an important thing to know. Also some concern that they are blind about where they are located, where goods are shipped from.

And, maybe they just "borrowed" the sporran photo but it sure looks pretty standard. They say they make their own goods....but I had middleman alarms go off.

Whatever the truth is, always remember, you can have any two of price, quality, or service....

If you do purchase one, let us know more about it.

I have to agree here that their prices seem not to reflect on what they say on their website:-
