another strange Ebay sporran
Of course it's listed as a "military officers" sporran- all old stuff is, on Ebay.
Very strange. From the front it almost looks like a real sporran. Yes the cantle is made out of strangely patterned metal I've not seen before, and the tassel bells don't look like real tassel bells. But it more or less resembles one.
The back is another story. I suppose this might be a theatrical prop, crudely thrown together.

Quite possibly the ugliest "sporran" I have ever scene. If this sells at all, much less, neets it's price, I shall be completely gobsmacked.

All that fur sticking out from around the thistle is just strange. Well, the whole thing is just strange.

It's bad but not as bad as some of those full mask sporrans you have found on ebay!

Those tastles have an almost middle eastern look, and I think the thistle may have been added later.

The dog in SilvetOtter's link suggests there better be a treat in his sporran for him to wear it. I bet there isn't a kilt in his future though.
