Another Thank You to Donnie
I just opened a package containing a sporran and belt from Donnie at Wyvern Leatherworks (http://www.wyvernleatherworks.com). It is Beautiful! The workmanship is top notch and the cutomer service I received came straight out of Jerry's handbook. I recieved email responses to all my questions just before I hit the send button and had the package in my hand before I was able to shut down my computer.
I know the rabble demands pics, but I'm in route to my mother-in-law's for Easter. I'll post photos the first of the week. I got one like model number 7514, but in black. http://www.wyvernleatherworks.com/ourproducts
Thanks Donnie!

Hey Donnie, what is the lacing stitch you use on the edges of your sporrans called. The close up pics arent really detailed enough for me to pick it up. You do some beautiful craftsmanship. I hope to be as good as you some day!

Hey Berserkbishop;
The lace I use was tought to me 30 years ago as a double cardovan, or double loop lacing. If you go to the sporran page of my website, click on the a sporran with the lacing, then click on the picture that pops up, the picture should magnify enough for you to see it better.
Thanks for the compliment. I have been working leather off and on for over 30 years. Just keep on keepin on and you will get there.

Ok, that was what I thought, I am going to try to learn that myself. I've got an old leather working book that shows how to do it! Thanks

Finally, pics
Well it took entirely too long, but here are a couple of photos my wife took after church. Stillwater Nightstalker, sporran by Wyvern Leatherwork, jacket conversion by yours truely. The shiner is courtesy of a limb that fell from the dogwood tree I'm standing beside. I've been wearing Donnie's sporran for a bit now and get nothing but positive comments. It's by far my favorite piece of kit.

Awsome sporran FSHGUY. I have a black one with a light brown trinity knot on the lid! Donnie makes some awsome sporrans.
