    Chocolate brown suede vest

The J. Peterman Company catalog has a great-looking brown suede vest that would look smashing with the right kilt. Chocolate brown, lined, pocket detail, adjustable back strap, five buttons. A great price at $199! It's at www.jpeterman.com.

There are some other items (the U.S. Navy sweater in particular) and accessories for a casual look.

    Re: Chocolate brown suede vest

The link is for the home page and, on that page, there was no vest so I'm afraid I did not see what you're referring to. If you could be more specific that would be great; I am always looking for a good vest.

    Thanks

    Re: Chocolate brown suede vest

I've seen several things in their catalog that I would think would look great with a kilt myself. I have an Irish pub shirt from them that is my favorite casual wear shirt when kilted. One note though on sizing, and since I only have the one shirt from them it may be isolated to this style. The shirt I have ran HUGE. My father-in-law gave it to me because he bought it on clearance and didn't want to worry about returning it when it was too large for him. It is a size large and with me being just a shade over 6-4 and close to 230lbs the sleeves are actually too long for me. I generally wear an XL or even XL tall from most other companies and don't get sleeves this long.

Thank you. Very nice. It looks a bit long for a kilt but I would still like one.

Does it have to be chocolate? Because black usually goes with a lot more Tartans. Such as this: http://www.heritageofscotland.com/Le...82,product.php
