Why not AA? I wear replica Civil War and War 2 jackets with kilts. They work for me. Ron If the pics don't show for you they're in my gallery.

The cut in the front will show the sporran that's for sure. I do think it may be a bit too dated looking, but if it can be modernized it may look very cool. Does anyone else think the model looks like Elton John gone through a time machine?
Dated? ....I sort of thought that it looked very much like some of the jackets that the Beatles wore in the early sixties. Open a couple of buttons and maybe a jabbot and you'd look like Austin Powers kilted...yeah, baby! Best AA

Are you sure the length of those jackets will work with a kilt? Most kilt jackets that I've seen have a body that is shorter than the sleeves, usually by about 1½ or 2 inches. It's hard to tell, but it looks like the jacket bodies pictured - both mentioned above - are about the same length as the sleeves. Thank you, Scott Gilmre
