    Finally I got one...

    Hi Guys,

during my holidays in Scotland in August I tried to find an all wooden cromach without any success. Being back I found a shop near my place where I ordered this:

Finally I have one. It is very simple but I really like it!
It will be inaugurated on Saturday at the Mainlandgames in Rüsselsheim near my place...

    Tom,

Nice looking stick. I have a similar one is ash. The nice thing about a simple all wood one is that you can use it as a walking/hiking stick without fear of destroying the handle. I love the look of the beautifully style carved horn handles, but I don't think I would be very comfortable using one beyond the highland games.

    Cheers

    Thanks, Jamie,

that's exactly what I thought. Though I would love to have one with a carved thistle - wood or horn - this seemed to be the right for "real" use...
