Freelander's Amazing Sporran
Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Am I the lucky one or what?
Not an hour ago, I received a package from Norway containing, what I believe to be, Freelander's first sporran sale - and it is superb!
Here's a quickly taken pic:

and there is another in my Photo Gallery.
David, I send you my congratulations. This is one fantastic sporran. It is roomy, is beautifully constructed and is in a design unlike any other that I have seen. Truly, I'll be proud to wear it (and, believe you me, I certainly will!).
Thank you, David ................ let me know if you decide to make it in black , and if you come up with other designs - I'll be first in line!

Looks great. Ham, now you really have a coup, an original Freelander sporran. I'd sure consider one if it was in black.

Freelander...
David, I think you've started something here...I like the design, would look nice with a day jacket as well.
Hamish, what is the tartan, if I may be so bold to ask?
Cheers,
T.

Graham,
I have now been wearing the sporran all day - from the moment it arrived - and it is great! Not heavy in itself so, when I have everything but the kitchen sink in it, it is still comfortable. Brilliant in every way!
The address you have given sounds to me more like and Australian distributor's address - will you be assuming that mantle in time? I guess everything depends upon whether David wants to go into business!

I'll have to try it with one of my day jackets, but I have a feeling that the sporran might have just a tad too much of a casual/historical look for that to work. I'll let you know.
The tartan? It is Kinloch Anderson's 'Corporate Tartan', which I particularly like for the nice touch of rust colour in it - a useful colour when co-ordinating. The kilt is actually one of their Breacans, now 5½ years old.
