Ghillie Crocs?
Picking up on a post that X Marker Seanachie made in a thread on Ghillie Brogues in Feb '10.

Has anyone tried these Ghillators™ Ghillie Brogues? They are Croc-style, leather-look, plastic Ghillies.

Top: Traditional Leather Brogue
Bottom: Ghillator Croc-style Ghillie Brogue.

Andrew Lenz of "Bagpipe journey" website fame did a hefty review on them (I've mapped to his pictures above, I hope he doesn't mind.)
Although I won't be getting a pair myself as I'm not struck on Ghillies by design, I do think it's a novel idea and for the Ghillie afficionado a viable option as a wet-weather plan.. Although that said, I can see Jock Scot spinning round on his swivvel chair as I write this... hehehehe!
For info, the Ghillator website is here. Also available at Sportkilt.
