Grouse Claw kiltpin
I think they're pretty cool!...my wife thinks they're pretty disgusting
These will look great on ancient, weathered and hunting tartans.
Anyone has a grouse claw kiltpin?

There also "less creepy" versions...
A pewter grouse claw from (not 100% sure) the Wallace Collection.
And lots of fuzzy furby type versions.
The grouse claws were good luck charms for hunters, so I think they look best on weathered and hunting tartans.
I like the "raw look" of the 1st image most

grouse claw...
I must admit I rather like the grouse claw kilt pin, although I prefer the all-pewter one myself. They look like something a Highland ghillie would wear.
Cheers,

Sweet. Man, I can't afford to stock up on kilts, but now I'm thinking a variety of kilt pins could be a lot of fun...
I like the first one.

One of the characteristics of grouse is feathers on the feet.
I like the white feather without a jewel.

I like those, but my wife won't allow one in the house. She says it's revolting.

I like the pewter one. Perhaps a pigeon claw would be best for those in New York.
