Heh, when I saw the top of the web page, which said they were made from Scottish heather, I thought it would be more like the LifeGems which created such a stir in one of my nursing classes last year, which are made from your deceased relatives. (Through a completely different process, for those who haven't looked at both web pages).

    These heather gems are pretty.

They are not listed on our web site, but we (the Scottish Tartans Museum gift shop) typically have a selection of heather gem jewelry in stock. A mix of sterling silver and pewter, celtic cross pendants, celtic knot brooches, thistle brooches, that sort of thing. Your wife is correct, very nice stuff and not that expensive at all.

For the gents we even have some heather gem kilt pins and heather gem capped sgians dubh!

    Aye,
    Matt

I bought a beautiful silver heather gem kilt pin at the Stone mountain games last years, and a brooch for my daughter. Goes great with my IOS tartan.
