That price is very attractive, and I'm tempted to get a bottle green one. But can anybody vouch for the quality of these? Where are they made? Are they Pakistani imports?

It's a Hector Russell, Tobus. I am surprised that anyone would ask that question.

sounds good, but...
80 GBP sounds good, but there is no waistcoat and there IS shipping to those of us on the left side of the pond. A quick check on eBay reveals several ( not new) Argyll jackets for less, though many of them also are in the UK and require expensive shipping, too. I am also eager to know the quality of these jackets. I do believe a dark blue Argyll is the very best kilt jacket to have.
Some take the high road and some take the low road. Who's in the gutter? MacLowlife

My black braemar jacket is from Hector Russell and the quality is great. The tags say "100% pure new wool, made in Great Britain." I can't vouch for this sale specifically, but my jacket from them is really nice.

I can vouch for them also. I have two tweed daywear jackets and a waitscoat. I think they are very nice and I never fail to get compliments when I wear them.

No disrespect or offense was meant. I just asked because the price was so low. Being fairly new to all of this (and an American), I apparently had not heard of Hector Russell before. We aren't all born with a list of reputable manufacturers in our heads...
