    help on Doublet Jacket

    I need help finding a piper doublet jacket without breaking my bank, my limit is about $ 200.00 dollars or a pattern for the doublet jacket.

    Several makers in India and Pakistan make doublets. They cost in the $120-150 range. Beware! Some look great, some look strange. It's not a matter, always, of picking the right company, because the same company might make ones that look like traditional Scottish-made doublets, and ones that have strangely shaped features.

    There's a guy in Canada, his business is called Glengarry Hats, who re-sells these.
