If it is the same as the "country" version-> the one with the knot medalion, it is a good daily use one that holds my wallet, cell phone, keys, pens, and few other things. Actually, about the same as my jean pockets (yes, I still have pants and must wear them to work).
All in all, a great practical use sporran.

It's ROUGHLY 8.5" wide X 9" high. They vary slightly b/c they're each hand made. They hold a very good amt of stuff and the leather is very soft compared to "traditional" day sporrans. I've had mine for almost 3 years now and wear it on a daily basis and it still looks great!
The BIG thing I like this sporran for is the magnetic closure (vs. a snap). It's MUCH easier to close your sporran with the magnetic clasp than with a traditional snap.

I've got a brown and a black Rob Roy. I love them for the price and the quality. You also have the option of how to wear it because they come with D-rings as well as a pocket to feed a belt thru.
I can hold my thick wallet, keys, gum, and a few other items in there without bulging it. This is a great versatile sporran. I much prefer the soft leather to the more typical rigid style. Depending on how you wear them, they can look semi-formal or very casual.
I have no real need for another day sporran. One day I'd love a freelander but with a black and brown BK, I able to build all the outfits I'd ever want and look very sharp.
Also, the deal from USA kilts is the best price you'll find. I stumbled on a clearance sale at Stillwater for my Brown one, but for everyday deals go with USAK.

agreed! I recently got the brown version and am quite pleased with it. had it up at the Grandfather Mnt. Games and stuffed it with wallet, keys, phone, and dozens of folded pamphlets and buisness cards.
