Kilt belts and buckles are expensive and even tougher to find used. After researching all of the sizes and styles, I never found one I liked. Add that the buckles were too big for my frame and size. So I opted to mix and match. Went to Ross (funny how that worked out) and found a nice black leather belt for $9 and then found this buckle online for $8. $T2eC16J,!)cE9s4PsMmnBRgUwjf-(g~~60_3.JPG It was an ebay sale but the buckle is the traditional hook style and not a kilt buckle, enabling me to wear it with jeans or other trousers as well as the kilts. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SILVER-Irish...item1e780554c5 Not too bad for the investment of less than $20. Someday I might get a kilt belt but until then this does nicely. The smaller size buckle really compliments the outfit.

Good find Seumas; I really like that buckle. The cost seems almost too good to be true but I looked it up and they have several of them left. Nile
This is what the outfit looks like with the new belt. Not too bad for $20 IMG_20130528_082402601927994.jpg
