Kilt Belt w/o Buckle
I've been searching for a nice brown kilt belt that has a "normal" prong buckle instead of a belt that has the large sized plate buckle like most wear with their kilts. Does anyone know of a good source for larger thicker belts in this style?

McRostie of Glasgow Ltd., (Scotland) would be a good place to start. Perhaps not the cheapest, but the quality is first rate.

While I heartily agree about McRostie as a source of excellent quality, my wallet tends to be unnoticeable if sat upon.
Until enough folk pay me to allow their tasty catalogue, I do quite well with this....

Try Robert Pel at Rkilts in Stratford. He's a member here. http://www.rkilts.com/
He's not exorbitant, does superb work, and for you there's the bonus of the low Canadian dollar on your Ameribuck exchange rate.

Is this the sort of belt you are interested in?

If so shoot me an email with your waist circumference over your kilt.

I don't sell many in Brown but may have your size.

It isn`t too difficult to make yourself such a belt. Check out Zack White Leather for a 2.5" leather strip and a 2.5" rectangular brass buckle.

Very economical.
