Kilt Hose
I'm looking to buy some kilt hose, but most places I check have their sizes by shoe size. My question is, which way do you go if you are on the borderline? I'm a size 11-12, depending on the shoe brand, and the changing point seems to be around 11. Would a medium size be too tight, or a large size be too, well, large?

go for the large to be on the safe side.

I would bet that you would do fine with a larger size as long as you had garters. In my case they don't quite have them big enough(size 15).

I would go larger as they will surive washing and the accidental trip through the dryer

I would also say go large, just in case they shrink on you.

Just curious Joe, but are you putting them in the washer and dryer? I only hand wash my hose and hang dry now after a very sad incident with the clothes dryer (evil thing that it is )

My wife runs mine through the washer but not the dryer
one pair has been through the dryer by accident without major damage

I don't have a dryer but I would never put my hose through one if I did.
I find letting them dry naturally maintains them in excellent condition.

Definitely go with the larger size. My wife has run my off-white hose throug the dryer a time or two.
But, they survived and are still serviceable.
