Kilt Hose
Do women wear the same kind of kilt hose as men, or is there any difference. Women's knee-highs just don't look right.

With some flashes to hold them up on skinnier calves, it shouldn't be a problem.

You can wear anything you like, but unless you want to wear a man's kilt and kilt hose--which I don't think looks right, but let's not get into that here--it probably looks better for women to wear thicker knee socks with a kilted skirt.
And the women I know--all the women I know--certainly make that kind of combination look good. And women's knee socks are proably cheaper than kilt hose.
But as always, you can wear whatever you like.

I dunno... Kilt hose on women with little flowery embellishments in the knit and instead of tartan flashes, you could have little lace ribbons or something feminine.
**Pulls out collar**
That'd be nice to look at. Er, that would be nice looking.

I probably could, but you don't want to wear crocheted socks! Thousands of tiny hard as a pebble knots stabbing in to your tender tootsies... You'd tell where your Grandmother hides her bingo money an hour after wearing them.

Our Lewis kilt hose in the more feminine colors are more popular in smaller sizes, and I'm guessing most of those are selling to women....

My wife wears pantyhose with her kilt skirt for more formal events, but for casual stuff she either wears sandals (or open toed shoes) with no hose, or sometimes off-white kilt hose with a pair of my garter flashes.
Her skirt hits her mid calf.

I've got a mini-kilt and a pair of what I like to call "school shoes" with a small heel on them. I think I'm going to get some kilt hose. I can't seem to find any knee-highs that aren't see thru.

Someone posted a link to a place that sells over the knee socks for ladies. I'll find that link when I get home. Hmmmm... Mini-kilt, over the knee socks and saddle oxfords... {wipes drool from chin}

"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
