Hi, I have just brought a kilt pin for my Dad, but i am not sure if it is a mans or womens kilt pin, please help. You will find a picture of the kilt pin by coping and pasting the following link: http://i7.ebayimg.com/01/i/04/b6/df/69_1_b.JPG Thanks Jamie
Hello Jamie, It could definitely be used as a man's kilt pin. It looks to me like it is a representation of a dirk set (a dirk with a fork and a knife contained in the sheath). And a dirk is most definitely a man's tool! If the stone colors go good with your father's tartan, I'd say you made a nice purchase! :-D Joe

I've looked for one similar to that for myself. I'm not sure why you would think it might be a woman's kilt pin. Especially since women don't wear kilts, unless they're in a pipe band.
The detailing on this pin is awsome. It is a nice alternative to the sword and I think the finish is great. I'm tempted... like kilts, it's nice to have a few choices. blu
That is one fantastic looking pin!
