Looking for sporran pics
Several months ago I saw a thread here that contained (or linked to) some photos of sporrans that had the look of a formal sporran with the arched metal cantel but the "cantels" were constructed of leather. I've searched and not found, alas.
I did find the Ferguson Britt photos on the Tartan Museum site, but I'm sure that these aren't the ones I'm thinking of.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?
Thanks

Bill, The Ferguson Britt sporrans are the only ones I've seen with the rounded cantle made of leather. Let me know if you find others!
I did post a thread a while ago with pictures of my personal FB sporran. Maybe you were thinking of that? I didn't bother searching for the thread, but here's a blog post with the same pics.

. . .
You can find them at Craigie Originals as well. They make them somewhat custom, so you can pick out exactly what colors you want--I think.

I have a black elk hide sporran by these guys, and they are extremely well made.

Well, now I think that this is the one I was trying to find. This item is offered at Kiltstore.com.

I've got a hair-on goat hide and lots of leather, so I think I'll try to make up my own version of this bad boy.
