My New Kilt Goodies Kilt Pin!

A happy surprise showed up in the mail today from the Netherlands!

It's my Whisky Tasting glass made by our own Robin at Kilt Goodies!

I know there have been a few other rave reviews posted about this particular kilt pin...but so what it's MY TURN! This is a reallly nice and heavy pin. It is two inches long and just over an inch wide at it's widest. Considering how really intricate detail is unlikely to be appreciated for something worn at knee level I find the simple design of the tasting glass to be really appealing. Of course it came in a wonderful presentation box with a wax seal (a kilt goodies pin makes a heck of a gift because not only do you get a really nice pin but it comes already ready to gift to a lucky kiltie).

Looking at my modest collection I decided that the only kilt worthy of a handmade piece of jewelry by an X Marker would be a handmade kilt by an X Marker! So it now graces my handsewn Matt Newsome 5 yard knife pleated kilt. Worn with my wonderful Freelander sporran I will be walking proof of how much amazing talent is present at X Marks the Scot.

I am very happy with my antler tip kilt pin from Robin but I just love this one.

    Thanks Robin!

    Cheers

    Jamie

How much does that small pin hold?

It is very nice and certainly detailed!

Classy. I still have 3 kilt pins that need kilts. I think when that is done I may buy several from Robin. I love his work.
