    My new Torc

I was inspired, and not ,I must admit a little envious of Bears fine Torc. (Celtic Brooch come kilt pin). So while on holiday in Bergen I popped into a shop I know that specializes in all things Viking. You name it Timbles and beads to full armour. They had several Torc's. Some in steel and silver and one in Bronze. They weren't so intricate as Bears however a lot cheaper at $33 so I purchased one for my up and comming Bear kilt.....Look in my gallery for a pic.
    All the Best.....David.

I like your new torc David! And for $33, you couldn't beat that price with a stick!

    Torc...

...And so appropriate for a Gunn, since they were Vikings who stayed too long in Caithness anyway!

Great Torc, freelander -- unique and a way to display your connection to Norway!

    Cheers!

I'm not sure ...However it is no doubt a copy of some artifact from a museum

It's a fine looking piece! What's this one made out of? Is it solid or plated? Where was it made?
