New Kilt (Cilt) Arrived
I picked up my Edwards Welsh Tartan from the shop (Celtic Treasures) this morning. My wife and I walked over to the shop and I walked home wearing my new kilt. A friend said that I had a "new kilt grin". (I notice in the picture that I need to cinch the belt down a bit, but it was very comfortable.) Tomorrow, I am attending the theater (theatre for the rabble across the pond) tomorrow afternoon and then out for dinner. I will be wearing the kilt and my tweed Argyll jacket. I'll post a picture tomorrow.
Cheers,
Chaps

That's a nice kilt, and is that a Wyvern sporran? Lookin' good, Chaps.

It looks wonderful. Have a good time at the theatre. I haven't been in too long (despite my favourite, West Side Story having recently come by town).
Also, I'm loving the term 'new kilt grin'.

Yes, Allen. It is a Wyvern sporran. Donnie does great work.

Looks good.
My rule of thumb is that if it is a Welsh tartan then I spell it Cilt, if not then I spell it Kilt.

Chaps: Great-looking kilt and very nice informal outfit. Congratulations! May you wear it in happiness and good times.
Is "Celtic Treasures" the same shop as "Scottish Treasures" in Coronado? If so, I bought my first kilt from them a few years ago from their "tent" at the Pleasanton games. A lady named Tricia worked with me, and I recall that her Mom (Marjorie) and Dad owned the shop.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

The name is actually Scottish Treasures Celtic Corner. I mixed the names. Yes, it was Tricia who worked with me as well. We attend church together.

If you think about it, and don't mind, please say "hi" to Tricia for me (John Blaylock from New Mexico). I bought my Blaylock kilt from her. Tell her it still fits and is looking great. Thanks.
