New Sporran & Belt Buckle
On the same day that Mark, of Tyger Forge buckles, came up to the museum to deliver my new Chi Rho belt buckle, the postman delivered my new Ferguson Britt sporran -- talk about Christmas in July!

The buckle is pewter on brass, and features the Chi Rho symbol -- the first two letters (in Greek) in the word "Christ" and the design that many think is the origin of the Celtic Cross.
The sporran is a Duin Uasail Mor, made from sheepskin, with brass tacks in the cantle for a little added flare!
What can I say, I love them both! It is a joy to know and be able to proudly showcase the work of two such fine craftsmen.

Love them and glad to see you like your new buckle... I'm thinking about a custom one but probably can't afford it at the moment!

Great look ....but you don't mention the tartan! Not one I recognize straight off.

It's the St. Columba tartan.

Nice
The buckel works so well with that sporran!
It must be nice to have such a toy store at your fingertips

Matt - how does one go about obtaining a Chi Rho buckle? I'm bringing others slowly into the kilt-wearing fold at seminary here in Columbia, SC and I think that buckle could become a desired birthday, Christmas, graduation, etc. item. I hope to get up your way sometime soon and visit the museum.

Looks great, Matt. Are these items going to be available from the gift shop [the sporran may already be]? Cheers

What about the belt itself? Plain-simple but nice.
How wide is that and where is it from?

Wow, Matt! I honestly think that's the nicest sporran I've ever seen. Just sublime. I'm going to save up for one.
