New sporran from our own A_Hay

There is a thread around here somewhere that showed a few pictures of a nice sporran made by our own A_Hay who I think is a service man stationed in Germany. Anyway, I liked the picture and bought it from him. The craftsmanship is excellent and I could not be more pleased with the whole deal. He has it rigged so that I can use either suspender straps or a regular sporran strap. Tom shipped the sporran the day before I mailed my payment. They probably passed each other somewhere over the Atlantic. His work is really nice, and anyone considering a new sporran should certainly get in touch with him.

Here is a link to pictures. The one I bought is #4

The one at the bottom with the Scottish Lion on it. It even has a small inside pocket for credit cards, etc.

Yes they do. I'm already thinking about another one. I am going to ask if he can carve a set of dolphins, and if so we're off to the races. One of the features I really like is the magnetic catch, and no tassels. I have had to cut the tassels off my other sporrans because I just can't stand the drumming noise. I know other men like the sound, but it drives me batty.
