    Old kilt pin

I bought this old kilt pin off of ebay for just a couple of bucks. Anyway, I liked it and thought I'd share. It looks old but doesn't have any make maker's marks on it. I think it still looks good despite the loss of some of the enamel. I don't really miss the rhinestones anyway!

OK. Lets see if I can post a pictures for the first time successfully...

Are you going to wear it up as if it's been hooked, down as if it's been released, or sideways as if it's swimming?

That looks like a fun pin. I'm torn between whether I think it would be better to enjoy it the way it is and having it restored.

    Great catch,
    Rex.

I'm not sure if I want to restore it either. I think it might look good as is on my new Ancient Mackay 16 oz. kilt that I orderd from the Tartan Museum on Monday.

    Thumbs up

Good job on ya first photo posting. Restoring it would look grand indeed, and shouldn't be to big a choire to accomplish!

I say leave it as it is. Restoring it could look like cheap kids pin, at least to my eyes.
    Only my opinion.

I think I would also leave it alone.

I do believe now that I'm going to leave it as is. That way it still has "character".
