    "Old Sporran" on eBay, yikes, 1700s?

    It does look a little bit old, but I'm calling shenanigans of some sort. Never seen something like that, before...

    I'll go out on a limb and say it's not a sporran. The form just isn't right.

    those were pretty much my thoughts as well, looked definately more 1970's.

    But reading the description it sounds plausabel and there are/were undoubtably an unlimited number of one-offs. Considering a sporrans rather simple function it is/was certainly open to artistic variation.
