Ordered my first Robert Mackie from Dunadd Trading Company

I cannot wait and I just placed the order...lol. I ordered a beautiful checkered balmoral in Navy blue. I am going to pair it with my MacDonald modern tartan. I shall have many sleepless nights until it arrives at its new home.

If past experience with Dunadd is anything to go by, you won't have that many sleepless nights! And I'm right there with you... I ordered my first Balmoral from Chris on Tuesday night.

I took some good advice and went with the fawn, with fawn/white dicing.

Excellent choice. You do realise that once your new bonnet arrives, not only will you appreciate the expert Scottish craftsmanship that is a Robert Mackie Balmoral, but you will promptly begin to think about ordering your next one!

Ok, it's been only 6 days since I've placed my order but it seems like months. I am jonesing bad....I've accosted the mailman twice this week secretly blaming him for not delivering my bonnet to me (I'm sure now that he has kept it for himself and I will see him wear it one day and that will lead to a round of fist-a-cuffs).

See? I have it bad.

I went back and reviewed my several orders from Chris at Dunadd. The shipping times ranged from 8 - 12 days. That's pretty darned good. My guess is that your bonnet is getting REALLY close. Hang in there, ... and don't forget the pictures.

The mailman gave me a dirty look today when I went out to see if he was bringing the goodies. Not sure if he fully trusts me anymore...but who cares as long as he delivers the goodness that I seek.

I shall post pictures as soon as it arrives and then after the "jocking" process. I cannot wait for it to begin.
