parade belt?

will a kilt buckle fit on a parade belt like this?

it's listed as being 2-1/4" wide.
Also, where can one get a big rectangular waist plate.....that has a subded or antiqued finish? I don't want anything too shiny.

reason i ask it that it sorta looks like the parade/pistol style belt that dude is wearing on the Stillwater site. On the page that shows the nightstalker sporran in action.

I'm sure it could be made to work. The parade belts we used in the Corps were like these

and we had a brass buckle to wear on them.

It might work with some adjustments. 1st is to remove the belt buckle. 2nd is to attach the buckle the belt(might take some hand sewing). 3rd hopefully the prong on the belt buckle will fit into the hole on the belt.

I recently broke the catch on my kilt belt. So I sewed a D ring in its place. It works fine.
