Pink Kilt Hose with Various Wool Tartans

Gonna try this again...did before and right at the end the post vanished suddenly...groan. To top it off Photobucket is running a huge Best Buy add that covers everything up and its gotta be deleted every time....poor me.

    Okay...trying again in smaller chunks.

Here's the new Pink kilt hose with Scott Weathered Green

Here it is with Cameron Modern

Not sure you'd wear pink hose with Marine tartans, but here they are...

    Royal Air Force....sorta works...

    And finally, Scott Modern Red

Hose color and tartan colors are pretty true on my monitor. Hope this ain't overkill...just how pink hose look with a variety of wool tartans.

I think they look really good with the Federal Memorial and with the Dress Blue Marine.

I agree that they look pretty good with the Royal Air Force. The three I like them with are all mostly blue tartans. That makes sense -- pink and blue go together.

Well for sure it would take a Marine to pull off pink kilt hose with the Dress Blue Marine tartan.... I agree on the RAF, there's a pipe band that wears the RAF tartan with grey hose and it looks okay. Probably wouldn't hurt with the Federal Memorial too - those guys are all long dead and couldn't object....

Ron, you just took my preconceived notions about color, and stuffed them in the toilet. I was surprised to see pink hose could go with that many tartans.

Thanks for posting the photos. Now if you will excuse me,....I have to get my plunger and finish what you started.

    Crack me up!

I'm beginning to think this shade of "pink" or "light brick" or whatever can be almost as neutral as tans, khaki, or grey kilt hose...but not with all tartans - so "almost" as good.

Garter ties should be fairly easy. I recommend your basic black. Covers everything you could possibly wear with pink hose, er,....I mean light brick. (Light brick sounds like a new building material.)

    Ron,
I think they go really well with the non-red tartans...with a red tartan it just seems like too much. However, on the tartans with minor red [RAF, Marine Dress Blue] I think they work really well.
