    Pocketwatch accessories?

I have several pocketwatches that I wear with my kilt/waistcoat or with my 3-piece suit. But I'm a bit dissatisfied with the chains. So I'd like to buy a couple of replacement chains in different styles, as well as a couple of different endpieces that hook the chain to a buttonhole or to another pocket. I'm not even sure what all the different endpiece options are.

Does anyone have links to a good source to buy these things in traditional styles? Any recommendation on a conservative style? I don't mind spending a little money on this, but don't want to go overboard on price.

Two options that you might consider for fobs (the dangly bit on the end of the chain) would be eBay or Etsy.

I wouldn't purchase precious metals on either, but if you're looking for novelty in plated metal, you might find some decent stuff with a bit of searching.

I passed on my Grandfather's steel pocketwatch chain to my eldest son to keep and wear at his wedding; after I'd already found an antique sterling silver replacement on eBay.

I second the ebay etsy angle, got a nice 1800s one off there for mine.

I have no idea what your budget may be, but check antique stores and watch collectors. Most of my chains and best fobs are antique.
