    Post shoelaces

well with all the recent topics of footware i thought id mention about the part of the footware thats left out of most topics is the laces themselves,

i have this site saved in my fav folder as i use it to tye various footweare of mine with the different show lacing styles there are .....some are more for show while other have a practical sense to them
    http://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/shoelaces.php

after having a look on the site tonight i noticed the argyle woven shoelaces (4th down)and i thought they would be perfect for members on here who don't tye the laces around there ankles and wear less traditional footware,
they also have various other styles or lace too for the traditional footware like the round braided laces for example with various colours that may help that colour matching with jackets and hose

who know they may even brighten up those dusty hill walking boots also

here is some intresting styles of shoelacing i thought some folk might like the look off ,
ive choosen shoe looking footware for examples as most images on show are for trainers(sneakers)
i figure if folk like to customize there belt sporrans... hand make there own sgian dubhs and alter there own jackets and so on they might fancy a new lacing style for that wee persoanl touch to one of the main parts of any highland dress or clothing

Thanks for posting this! I never knew there were so many ways to lace shoes. I'm going to share this with my students, who will probably try a different method each day.

An amazing shoelace site. Who knew?

What's next, a dedicated aglet site where you can find handmade pewter and silver shoelace tips?... (hmmm... file in "odd niche marketing ideas" folder)

This is a great find! Thanks for posting it.
