Sources for Kilt Hose
I am looking for casusal kilt hose, but have smallish feet (8 US). Any recommendations for brand or vendor?

I wear a US size 9 and like the Lochcarron hose. Just today I finally received the oatmeal and lovat green pairs I ordered from the Scottish Tartan Museum back during their "snow" sale. I've also bought a pair from Burnett & Struth's with my latest kilt.

I’m really enjoying my House of Cheviot Argyll top hose that I got from Dunadd Trading Company. The medium size fit my size eight feet perfectly.

The Lewis hose we carry come in a size small (S) that is for shoe sizes 5 - 7.5, for those who have really small feet.
For a size 8, we usually recommend a medium (M).

I am an 8.5 and absolutely love the Hawick Hose from the House of Cheviot. I really like the Argyll Tops I got mine from a member of the forum, Redshanks here is his website.

They fast became my favourite hose and close to three years later they still are. Chris is great to work with as well.

You might give W. Brewin a try for 'casual' hose. They are not the fanciest, but they have your size, and are very resonably priced, about 12 bucks with shipping.

Thanks for the excellent recommendations. I think I will try several of the suggestions.

I tend to buy piper hose from the College of Piping. It's a good source if you're after piper hose: http://www.college-of-piping.co.uk/a...Kilt_Hose.html
