Yeah I posted this one awhile back. I think the concensus was "it's nice to see people pushing sporrans in new directions, but I probably wouldn't wear one". Some criticism that they looked a bit effeminate.

Someone's taking a simple item and throwing some originality into the mix. Kind of like UtiliKilts, and some of Bear's designs.
I'm all for it!!! Anything but the same-old, same-old. I can actually see some great uses for them with some of the contemporary kilts... if not side packs on jeans.
I suspected so. Those sporrans are slightly horrible, though, ain't they? I think some of the material used would soon get ratty. My sole Mocker Utilikilt has deep pockets making a sporran unnecessary but I'd certainly wear one if I saw something which caught my eye. It has to be decent leather and preferably without traditional tassels and whathaveyou - not that there's anything wrong with tradition but the modern look of a Utilikilt maybe calls for something more... utilitarian?
