Sporrans and Possibles Bags
I've a chea. . . er, reasonably priced sporran on the way but I'm thinking about what all I lug about on a daily basis.
Usually I carry a wallet, keys, lighter (I don't smoke but it's good to have fire, sometimes), wee pill bottle, nitro bottle, Leatherman, pocket knife, small flashlight (3/4" x 3"), spare change, large-ish cell phone (S5) and handerchief. Not sure all this is gonna fit.
Got me to thinking--when I was a Mountain Man re-enactor, I carried a "Possibles Bag." This was a bag about the size of a sporran worn on my belt--no pockets in a breechclout and leggins, either--in which you carried your possibles, that stuff you might possibly need. Not to be confused with the bag I wore over my shoulder, that would be my Shootin' Bag.
So, does anyone wear an additional bag on their kilt belt? A possibles bag, if you will. I'm thinking maybe a matching sporran fitted with belt loops, maybe.
P.S. that flashlight has been a lifesaver. Got it at Autozone for about $3, it's a Police something or other, led, quite bright and the batteries last a long time.

I think I could fit all that in my sporran, but it does seem like you carry multiples. I use my phone as a flashlight, for instance, and why carry a leatherman and a knife, when the leatherman tools have a knife?

My wee flashlight has rubber tape wrapped around the back end so I can hold it in my teeth. I've tried this with the phone but then I can't see part of the screen.
I live on a half-a**ed ranch and there's things that need cut that the Leatherman isn't quite up to, that and this way I've a blade kept very sharp in the Leatherman and another for cutting stuff that dulls knife blades ever so quickly. Besides as Logan Ninefingers will tell you, you can't have too many knives. (See _The Blade Itself_, Joe Abercrombie)
For a long time I also carried a Leatherman with the knife blade removed so I could take it on airplanes. So it became habit to have the knife when not on airplanes. A TSA agent now has that one. Apparently you can hijack airplanes with a pair of pliers too and a fold-out screwdriver.

That explains it. ith:
I try to slim things down and only carry what I expect to need. I've broken down my keychain so that if I'm driving my car, I only have house and car keys on that chain. My motorcycle keychain only has garage and bike keys on it. When I'm kilted, I'm dressed up, and I won't be working on anything I need a flashlight or tools for until I change clothes. But I'm not on a ranch, so obviously can't speak to your needs.

Flashlights and knives
I'm a bigger fan of the head lights (those with a strap, to go around your head). No need to hold it in your teeth, and if frees up both hands. I think Petzl makes about the best ones. I own four different Leatherman tools. Wave, Surge, Charge, and my latest is the $30 Wingman. Doesn't come with a pouch. I clip it in my pocket. Not a big fan of the combo regular and serrated knife blade, though.
I'm a small town guy, homeowner, handyman. I've always carried a blade/blades. I remember taking my girls to the airport, so they could fly to Grandma's, to stay for a week. This was just after 911, just when they began to punish us Americans (for what some young, middle-eastern males had done). Anyway, when I went through the security scanner, I forgot all about the little 2-1/4" Gerber knife in my pocket. When I emptied my pockets, the agent told me that I could not bring that knife any further. I could either return it to my car, or go to a UPS kiosk, and mail it home; those were my options. I had an idea.. I told my kids to stay right there. I ran down around the corner, to the mens room. I went into a stall, and hid the knife in the toilet seat cover dispenser. I figured that if I returned later, and it was gone, oh well. It didn't cost much.
I returned to the security checkpoint, cleared it, and saw my girls off to their plane. Later, when I returned to the mens room, reached into the dispenser, and found my knife. I put it in my pocket, and left the airport.

Yep, the topic starter has a lot of things for one sporran . Just as I do, actually. I solve this problem with help of little back pack (10 litter), and, I use my lower strap for carrying my edc knife. So, my sporran is for ld and money. And, of course don't forget about jacket pockets. If it is a could season.

I don't know why you couldn't hang a bag off of your belt and get away with it. This is one I use to hold empty 45-70 cartridges when I'm out shooting my big Sharps. Keeps them from getting lost, because they aren't cheap, and keeps the black powder residue off of other stuff.

This is my possibles bag from back in the Muzzleloading days. I carried my strike-a-light/tinderbox, pack of smokes (I'm reformed now), Bic lighter for when I felt like cheating and cash. Understand this was worn only at Rendezvous and shoots. I think it's a bit much for daily wear, eh? All that junk tied to the fringe is Rendezvous medallions and tokens. The big dark thing on the flap is a cast pewter bear.

When Oh Susanna's Leather made my sporran (one of 'em) I had them make me a matching belt pouch for... stuff.

My basic equipment are a very small wallet – to accommodate credit cards as well as driving license and health secure card (both of them in credit card formats), keys for car and house, my iPhone 5S, and (sometimes) a very little amount in cash. It all goes into the sporran.
However, I like having as little load on my front as possible. Therefore, I prefer to have the things in jacket pockets, photo bag, or a small shoulder bag (there a men’s bags in all sizes nowadays). Then the sporran can hang light and empty. Or I can, even if seldom, leave it at home. Or have it in the car, going without it in nature and put it on when back into “civilization”.
