Sqain Dubh found @ POW WOW
While I was at the Indian POW WOW this weekend looking for a pelt to make a full Mask sporran from. I found this little treasure. Made from a fox.
The fist pic is all the sqain dubhs I own starting from the top, Old original that I purchased with a large amount of stuff, second one from Sport Kilts, third from Frugal Corner and lastly my newest one.

That's a breauty, John. I've see similar sgians and dirks made by Clan Leather Works at the Stone Mt. Games. I'd be afraid to get bit and get rabies if I wore that in my sock.

Looks sharp. I've seen large knives made that way for the mountain man/rendevous crowd but none that seemed useful. I wonder if the fox carcass is still in the freezer? Wear it proud.

I hope RiverKilt sees this thread. I think there is a lot of kilt accessory stuff that can be adapted in this way.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
