    Stillwater Brown Kilt Belt

I bought one of the "seconds" that Stillwater was selling on ebay. Jerry was very nice about sending me a large when ebay decided that I'd been bidding on a medium...can't figure that one out at all. Whatever the case I got it yesterday, three-day turnaround. That's Stillwater for ya.

Anyway, this is a "second"? Oooooh-kay. I suppose some of the casting on the belt buckle isn't clear as it could be. That doesn't bother me at all, it took me a couple of minutes of staring at the thing to even notice it.. The belt itself looks completely fine to me. Anyway, their regular prices for kilt belts are great, the price on this second was fantastic. I'd decided I wanted to expand to a brown belt/sporran combination after seeing PDCorlis wearing brown with his MacNaughton kilt, so here's step number one.

This is a NICE belt, and is my first velcroe'd-over "real" kilt belt. Highly recommended.

    Thanks again, Stillwater Kilts!

Wow good score Alan and good on the SK team. I'm a fan of the brown, always have been. Why wear black when you can wear brown? I've oft been heard to say. I had a belt with velcro on it and sent it back without even trying it on the "lacking tradition" grounds. Maybe I need to rethink.
Well done on the new addition. What's the knot work?

Yes, the velcro is hidden, you can't see it when the belt is on. Velcro int eh belt doesn't bother me at all. If I were seriously trying for a period kilt costume for Faire or something, then I wouldn't use it, but this is nothing like that.

It's a very nice belt! As for hte knotwork, I have no idea, but I like it!
